About this course

In today’s competitive markets, customer service determines the winners and the losers. Our course aims to make you a winner by giving you the necessary customer service skills to go “above and beyond” in whatever industry you work in. The course is adapted to meet the individual learners’ needs and has been used in a variety of industries to great effect.

What will I do on this course ?

During this course you will:

  • Understand what customer service means.
  • Identify who your customers are and how to meet their expectations.
  • Know the standards and legislation relevant to your area of work.
  • Gain experience in dealing with challenges and challenging behaviour.
  • Obtain skills in effective communication.

Qualifications you will complete

  • City & Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Customer Service
  • Highfield Level 1 Personal Development for Employability

This course is tailored to meet the industry needs of each learner and is relevant to any customer facing role.

How is this course assessed ?

There is no formal examination and you will be assessed in a variety of ways by your tutor. Your final assessment will consist of a portfolio of work that you create over the time of the course as well as a classroom assessment.

What could I do next ?

This course gives you the opportunity to gain skills in customer service which are transferrable to any industry.
