Professional or industrial cleaning is more complicated activity than the domestic variety although they overlap to a considerable extent. Industrial cleaning often involves the use of much stronger and potentially more hazardous cleaning agents as well as heavier or more powerful equipment. This course will give you the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure that you will be able to use these agents and equipment appropriately and within legal regulations.

This course is designed for people who wish to gain employment, whether it to be employed or self-employed, within the cleaning industry.
There is no formal examination and you will be assessed in a variety of ways by your tutor. Your final assessment will consist of a portfolio of work that you create over the time of the course as well as a practical assessment.
Possession of this qualification will give successful students an edge over other applicants for industrial cleaning jobs and could lead to either employment with a pre-existing company or setting up their own business within the cleaning industry.
